There is a new HUD program that is now available for indigent tenants who have no other options for housing. It is being funded by the “Stimulus Package” funds and has most of the same requirements as other housing program including an inspection and approval of the premises by the tenant’s case worker. The program will help the tenant with their housing needs for up to 18 months providing they continue to qualify.
